We are excited to announce that our Leo Suter has joined the cast of EMMY and BAFTA-winning screenwriter Andrew Davies’ new series Sanditon for ITV and Masterpiece.
The eight-part period drama, based on Jane Austen’s last unfinished novel, follows the story Charlotte Heywood who is transported from her rural hometown of Willingden to the would-be coastal resort of Sanditon and encounters the characters whose fortunes depend on its commercial success. Leo will be playing the series regular role of James Stringer who connects with Charlotte and plays an integral part in the construction of Sanditon.
Andrew Davies, creator and screenwriter said: “I’m very excited that we are bringing the world of Sanditon to the TV audience with such a brilliant ensemble cast…now I’m eager to see our exceptional cast bring Sanditon to life.”
Filming for the series is already underway.
